Music Life and Career Details
1959-1982ish
Michaele (Alyras) is a highly
gifted, highly talented, high
achiever. Michaele's musical life
began at age two, when her mother
discovered that she could contrapuntally
improvise on the piano--in harmony. By
age 16, she had learned to play 16
musical instruments. With
a vocal range of more than 4 octaves, and having performed all
instruments on nearly all of her recordings, since the age of 17,
(technically inspired by Prince), Michaele has spent most of her career
as a self-contained artist; regardless of the genre in which she has
chosen to perform. Nonetheless, starting in her junior year of high
school, she has worked as a performer, (lead vocalist, keyboardist,
percussionist, and bassist), band leader and music director. She has
also collaborated, and worked with several great minds, artists, and
musicians, including Warren
Giancatarino, Jeff Rona, Don
Freeman, Al Collins, Philip
Woo, Michael Carlson, Lenny
Kravitz, Masayuki Koga, Melissa
(Missy) Weaver, John Duykers,

1982-2006
In the mid-1980's, Michaele signed her first production deal with 8
Mile/John Lodge Productions, in LA. Soon thereafter, both A&M
Record's John McClain chose Michaele to be the "Paul McCartney" to
Lenny Kravitz's "John Lennon" to start a "Black Beatles", (prior
Lenny's first album). Simultaneously, (thanks to the help of producer,
Dick Rudolph, manager Brian Avnet and artists
Don Freeman and Warren Giancatarino),
MCA Records and Universal Music were wooing her for a solo recording
and co-publishing deals. [As all that was happening, Michaele also
started a family. Brian encouraged her to take the MCA deal; which she
did, (thus inspiring Lenny to stop trying to collaborate with other
lead person artists, and convince his father to fund his first album.)
Unfortunately, she signed with MCA deal during Mercury Retrograde, and
could not see that every one of the people who had faciitated the deal,
(Dick, Brian, the then head of Black Music A&R, and the key person
at Universal) were all going to be leaving her within 30 days of the
deal; (Dick to produce Timothy B. Schmidt's solo album, Brian to handle
family matters, and the others bailing MCA
and Universal for Motown, and other publishing opportunities. She could
also not foresee that MCA would be completely revising its Black Music
division away from adult-oriented music, like hers, to teen music, e.g.
Shanice and New Edition;
and that the combination of her working allies bailing, and the new
regime at MCA not being into artists making music like her, including
Gladys Knight, Stephanie Mills, Joe Sample, and Colonel Abrams, would
criticially impair her music career for the next 3 decades. That
experience also left Gladys and Stephanie jaded, Joe in a serious
mental health crisis, and Michaele feeling professionally betrayed and
abandoned.)
During those decades, (with facilitating help of Beth Dispenza, Scott
Baral, Foster Perry, and the personal tutelage of Dr. Barbara Hero),
she translated the Mayan Sacred Calendar (Tzolkin) into sound, and
began to produce consciousness enhancement audio software. Soon
thereafter, her life, and career were sidelined by Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome (CFS); which led her to discovering how powerfully effective
the Tzolkin software is in counteracting the effects of CFS, and into a
very, very, very deep rabbit hole. Transiting that rabbit hole Journey,
she shifted her pro activities [in 1997] into Information Technology
(IT), spending the next 20 years primarily working her way from the
roof of that arena to the foundation, i.e. from call center tech
support to major Silicon Valley [200 Paul Ave.] data center
technician--with a brief hiatus from the arena to become the leading
MIDI ringtone composer for Faith West/Moderati. Responding to her frustration
from people most frequently mispronouncing her name, (whilst
ministering with San Francisco's "Transcendence Gospel Choir", she
dropped using her first name, preferring to be known by her middle
name, "Alyras".
2007-COVID
In December 2007, she receiving a Calling into ministry. (She had
already been an ordained minister for 15 years, having done so to
formally facilitate her service to the Dark Goddess aspect of Holy Spirit;
knowing that she would eventually be called into some form of music
ministry, but having no clue to whom she would be so ministering.)
Specifically, she was Called into Elven Music ministry; (the "M" being
capitalized to indicate sacred rather than secular). Joining Elven
language (Quenya) translator, she formed the duo, "Iluvamil", and became a member of the Elven spiritual community, "Tie eldalieva"
(T-e). With T-e's help, she intuitively, experientially determined that
the Valar in J. R. R. Tolkien's "Silmarillion" are literal, not
ficitious, and became one of the communities primary spiritual
teachers. Unsure of whether she was actually being calling into Elven
ministry, Michaele spent the next 10 years burning out in, and
departing from IT; building a new line of brain enhancement software to
counter the synaptic damage induced by PTSD; from the Ainur (both Valar and Maiar), and to produce
demos for an Iluvamil EP, two unreleased Bossa Nova CDs, and a
45-minute, Pop-centric solo stage show ["Jesus Christ Sex Symbol"]
advocating for transgender Christian youth.
In 2016, after studying with Sylvia Nakkach, Dr. John Beaulieu, Loriel
Star, Glen Velez, and other renowned esoteric music teachers, she
received certification as a sound healer from the California Institute
of Integral Studies. In 2018, after spending 15,000 hours in
development, she release the first version of "Rebound",
and DreAM software. In 2019, Michaele practically single-handedly
established T-e as a charitable trust, with the trust also being the
umbrella for "Yana eldalieva", the world's first legitimate,
IRS-recognized Elven church. Later that year, on the December Full
Moon, at San Francisco's China Beach, the Valie, "Nienna", gave
Michaele undeniable, miraculous proof of her material existence; thus
galvanizing her focus on her Elven music ministry, and inspiring her to
establish "Elvenspirit" as an independent Elven spiritual organization, advancing T-e Work in a musically focused direction, and to write "The Way of the Elven Spiritual Path :: Book II: Initiation"
to enable everyone who wishes to explore Elven spirituality to do so in
alignment with the sacred such tradition established by T-e.
COVID-Present
During COVID, Michaele decided to be
known professionally by her first name again, and to make Alyas a
virtual artist via an avatar, and to program Alyras' vocals rather than
singing them. As a vocalist, she restored her focus to her first love,
improvisation. Currently, Michaele is living in Minneapolis, MN, and is
in the early stages of developing Elven devotional music. At the time
of this writing, it is Oct. 2022. Michaele has redirected her Elven
spiritual teaching activities to advance the Work of "Elven Spiritual Path", another charitable trust which she founded under the auspices of Elvenspirit, and has launched a software NFT, "TzolChing Express"
in advance of the later release of "TzolChing Deluxe". Her plans for
2023 are to complete the line of Elven devotional music, to record
vocals on the Bossa Nova albums, to begin producing music for artist,
Amy Barbera, to deeply
explore learning Elven Music from the Ainur (both Valar and Maiar) in
the context of piano-accompanied, healing, solo voice-as-instrument
Jazz-EDM.

of the artist's direction.
